The 11th Grade History Classes traveled to the Big Bend on April 15, 2009, to see first hand
the homesteading site of J. O. Langford. Look for more pictures of our exciting trip below.
The theme for the 2009 Prom was "Mystery Masquerade". The event was held on Saturday, April 18th in the Pecos County Civic Center. The room was beautifully decorated in red and black with many masks scattered throughout. The meal was prime rib, baked potatoes, green beans with bacon, salad and cheesecake squares for dessert. It was prepared by the Sports Booster Club.
Mrs. Granado prepared a slideshow of pictures taken throughout the year. She also worked very hard on decorations and keeping everything running smoothly.
Class competitions were held on Friday, May 1, 2009. TAKS tests were given earlier in the week and everyone was ready to blow off steam! Students competed in volleyball (boys only), swimming, kickball (girls only), tug-of-war, relay races and other fun events. The competitions are organized by the Student Council, sponsor is Mrs. Card.
