Where Do You Want to Go to College? Alamo Elementary's staff takes part in "College Day" every Wednesday at school. "It is never to early to talk about higher education beyond high school. By wearing their alma mater or favorite college or university t-shirt, the teachers open up conversations with the students about college choices." said Mr. Baker.
Mr. Aguilar Honored David Aguilar, who teaches 1st Grade at Alamo Elementary, was awarded Reading Model Classroom Certification by Renaissance Learning for the outstanding results his students have obtained throughout the year on their reading tests. Mr. Aguilar has been teaching in Fort Stockton for 5 years.

Reminder for Parents On days that we have bad weather, Kindergarten children will be picked up at 3:10 PM in front of the cafeteria and 3rd Graders will be picked up at 3:25 PM in front of the cafeteria.

Balloon Release Staff and students from Alamo Elementary traveled to Alpine on Wednesday, March 21st, to celebrate International Down Syndrome Day with a balloon release coordinated by the Big Bend Down Syndrome Association.
