Financial Aid Applications Available Seniors are invited to stop by our office to pick up a financial aid application (FAFSA).

Reminder: Turn in Your Clearinghouse Application by January 20th   The deadline to turn in your completed Clearinghouse Application for local scholarships is 4:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2012. We have extra copies of the application available in our office if you have misplaced yours!
  Letters of reference may be turned in as late as mid-February. Please do not wait until the last minute to ask for reference letters from your teachers!

Texas Scholars are high school students from the Fort Stockton Independent School District who have completed a specific curriculum that provides a high level of skills and readiness for the labor market or college.

Freshmen are required to volunteer 5 service hours to be a Texas Scholar and older students are required to volunteer 10 hours per year. Students must complete a total of 35 hours of volunteer service by the March deadline of their senior year to receive the Texas Scholar red/white/blue cord recognition at graduation.

Volunteer service must be performed locally for a non-profit, religious or community service organization. A list of organization that have indicated an interest in Texas Scholar volunteers is available in the High School Guidance Office.
